Could u explain to me what my avg load should be (in numbers) unsure what's goodand what to be weary of. Thanks can't wait to use this app and understand a lil better!

A:

Your load avg should be below 5 for normal use. It may raise if bad background application running. You can activate Notification in preferences so you can see changing icon color from green (good) to red (bad)

Does it work well on the Motorola DROID?

A:

Yup, i was developing it using Motorola Milestone which is very similiar. Also run well on HTC Hero and Nexus One.

What option must be checked in Preferences?

A:

This is my pref:
Add notification ON
Auto start ON
Update interval: 5 min
Wake lock OFF

Vibrate OFF
Alert Silent
Delay: 5 min
Only screen ON: ON

Load threshold: 10

Clean Memory: ON
(will try to cleanup memory after screen turned off, this will make your phone lag free)

Q:

I can't find what application causes high load and lag.

A:

Just reboot your system. It may be caused by the system itself or built-in application such as thumbnail service, usb, gallery.

Q:

What is option wake lock for?

A:

It will prevent your phone from deep sleep. Which may be useful if you want to prevent wifi from turning off. May fix alarm bug. Also if you want to get acurate load average when screen off.

Q:

I got high load every time my device sleep :( This happened many times

A:

It seems your system really unstable, i was experiencing this issue. You can resolve this by resetting to factory default.

When sleeping, likely it is suspended. As said here: http://old.nabble.com/suspend---hibernate-td18832988.html

While your machine is suspended, isn't every process waiting? So if your machine has 150 processes running and a normal load of 0, and the suspend/resume occupies the processor for 0.1 minutes = six seconds, the one-minute load average should jump up to 15? Even if no processes are waiting after the resume, the one-minute average won't go back down for ... a minute.
